Important: Service Suitability & Safety Information
To ensure the safety and comfort of every passenger, we ask that you speak to us before booking to confirm that our wheelchair transport service is suitable for your needs.
Our service is designed for standard wheelchair accessible transport with driver assistance only.
We understand the frustrations that patients and families sometimes experience with hospital-arranged patient transport services or contracted providers. Our aim is to offer a more reliable, pre-booked, and personalised alternative for suitable journeys.
However, where a journey requires a CQC-registered patient transport service, clinical supervision, or medically equipped transport, we are not able to accept the booking. In these cases, we will always advise that the appropriate NHS patient transport service or a registered private ambulance provider is used instead.
If any of the following apply, a specialist medical transport provider may be more appropriate:
- Assistance required beyond what a driver can safely provide
- Dementia requiring clinical supervision or specialist safeguarding support
- Mental health conditions requiring monitored or clinical transport care
- Severe or complex mobility conditions requiring specialist handling equipment
- Unsafe or restricted property access requiring trained medical teams
- Requirement for oxygen or medical equipment during transport
- High-risk medical conditions requiring clinical oversight or monitoring
We are always happy to discuss your needs honestly and help guide you toward the most appropriate transport option, even if that is not our service.
